W. Y. Shugart and Sons Inc. is a family owned and operated hosiery manufacturer located in scenic North-Eastern Alabama that specializes in the production of women's and children's fine gauge hosiery.

This practice has resulted in a name that has become synonymous with high quality women's and children's socks for over sixty-six years.

Company Profile

W. Y. Shugart & Sons Inc. is a family owned and operated business. We focus primarily on, but are not limited to the production of women's and children's fine gauge hosiery. Our current line of over 200 styles showcases lace, bows, appliqués and textured pattern goods. If you can't find what you want, chances are, we can make it for you. Our outstanding dye and finishing staff make it possible for us to accept outside finishing contracts as well. At  W.Y. Shugart & Sons Inc. we do everything with an eye on quality and attention to detail.

W. Y. Shugart Sr. founded W.Y. Shugart & Sons Inc. in 1937 after branching out from his tutelage under W. B. Davis, the patriarch of the hosiery industry in our area. Today, we are proud to say our fourth generation of Shugart Sons are bringing change and innovation to the way we do business while still holding true to our time-honored values and traditions.  Jon Shugart serves as our company president. Bill Shugart III is VP of operations. Tim Shugart is VP of sales and marketing.
